The second generation Livina is a rebadged variant of the Mitsubishi Xpander and was launched in Indonesia on February 19, 2019. The Livina is sold in Brazil, Middle East, South Africa, China, Taiwan and certain Southeast Asian countries. The 1.8-liter option is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5 and 1.6-liter engines are paired with either a 5-speed manual, 4-speed automatic or continuously variable transmission. Power for the Livina comes from 1.5-liter, 1.6-liter or 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines that are shared with the Tiida/Latio/Versa. Sharing the same platform with the first generation Note, the Livina was the first Nissan vehicle to debut in China before being released in other countries. It was introduced in July 2006 by the automaker and their Chinese affiliate, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company at the Guangzhou International Motor Show and went on sale in December 2006.
